Delmarva Power yesterday asked the Delaware Public Service Commission to Xanax 4mg Side Effects allow a two-year extension to the guaranteed delivery date for Xanax 4mg Side Effects electricity from the NRG Bluewater Wind offshore wind project.

The previous deadline was Dec. 1, 2014.  The extension would move the deadline to Dec. 1, 2016.  Officials from Xanax 4mg Side Effects NRG Bluewater and Delmarva Power described the extension request as a Xanax 4mg Side Effects cautionary move.  NRG Bluewater Wind President Peter Mandelstam cited uncertainty in the federal permitting process.

“While we fully expect to Xanax 4mg Side Effects have the Mid-Atlantic Wind Park built and online before 2016, this amendment simply adjusts the timeline for circumstances beyond our control,” Mandelstam said.

“We understand the challenges,” said Gary Stockbridge, president of the Delmarva Power Region.  “The state has expressed a strong interest in this offshore wind project and we are committed to seeing it come to fruition. To reach that goal, we want to provide NRG Bluewater Wind with the additional time it needs.”

Rhode Island PPA Hearings Continue

An Oregon energy consultant — hired by opponents of the Xanax 4mg Side Effects Deepwater wind farm near Block Island — testified to the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission Tuesday that the project’s power purchase agreement is “poorly written, replete with errors and lacks key information,” the Providence Journal reported.

“The cost figures give the appearance of being reverse-engineered from a required rate of return rather than derived from basic engineering estimates,” the consultant, Robert McCullough, said.

The commission also heard testimony that one of the state’s large manufacturers would see its electricity bill rise more than Xanax 4mg Side Effects $300,000 in the first year of operation, according to the Journal.
